Meet the Team
Bradley Smith
Founder & Owner
Certified Residential Appraiser
Bradley has nearly 25 years of experience in residential appraisal services. He founded Appraisalsmith in 2004 after several years of training and working in the industry. Bradley began his career at Wachovia Bank where he worked in commercial lending and treasury services. His experience includes residential construction and renovation, investment property acquisition, and fix-and-flip property management. What Bradley enjoys most about being a Certified Residential Appraiser is assisting clients with home ownership and residential real estate investments. His approach for each appraisal includes collecting as much information as possible about a property and focusing on the market he knows best, Intown Atlanta. As a fifth-generation Atlantan, he has intimate knowledge of the city’s neighborhoods and is constantly analyzing market trends.
Bradley is a graduate of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business where he earned a degree in finance. He and his wife Jane live in Inman Park and have two high school-aged children. In addition to his life as a residential appraiser, Bradley is an accomplished singer/songwriter. In his free time, he also enjoys hiking, skiing and cooking.
Jane Gibson Smith
Office Manager
Certified Residential Appraiser
Jane has been with Appraisalsmith since 2006. In addition to appraisal work, she handles bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other administrative needs for the business. Before moving to Atlanta, Jane was a teacher in public schools and also worked for three years at the University of Florida where she managed publications for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. After relocating to Atlanta, she wrote and delivered training material for a local startup. She then spent four years as a project manager at her brother’s construction company. Jane loved working at a small family business so it was an easy decision to join her husband Bradley at Appraisalsmith in 2006. She enjoys her work and never tires of the intricacies of Intown Atlanta’s fast-moving residential real estate market.
Jane is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English before earning a Master of Arts in English from the University of Florida. She and her husband Bradley live in Inman Park and are parents to two high school-aged children. Outside of work, Jane enjoys walking, hiking, water skiing, ping pong and volunteering in her neighborhood.
